Interviewing and filming veterans

As you all now, I have been interviewing many veterans over the past years. Now, when there is a story that is particularly interesting, and if the vet is willing, I also film part of the interview.

Amazing !!! To get that story directly from the vetren is sensational i enjoy hearing stories like that ,true accounts from the vet themselves and to have kept those photos..... wow! he must have been living that memory everytime he look at those photos, all the best to him, thanks for sharing and job well done

Thats great! thanks for sharing. I am taking a 75th id vet to his first reunion since WW2 (as most vets call it). His health is failing but you should have heard the spark in his voice when we spoke of going. I dont know who is more excited ,me or him. I am taking a video camera and hope it connects me with many more of these guys. Your are correct Jean loup ,The clock is ticking.

History, the best moment to interview vets is when they are on their own. When they are with friends everybody tries to talk at the same time, and when they are with familly, they may refrain from talking about some particularly ugly or sad details.
