Good Evening Forum,
On the 4th of September 1943 a RAF lancaster crashed, after being hit serveral times by german FLAK, on a field about 15 kilometers from my home. The crew, counting 8 airmen from Australia and England, were all killed in the crash and are stilling sitting in their seats inside the Lancaster. Due to the "swamp conditions" and water on the field, the Lancaster sank down in the mud only a few seconds after the crash.
On the 4th of September 2008, about 2 weeks from now, there will be a Remembrance Ceremony, were relatives and the australian ambassador will attend.
Any danes or foreigners who are planning to go?
