I talked to a lokal who told me that one german survived the chrash and the other did not. He told me that the dead where take up by the germans cause of the shallow water.

Who does the wreck belong to? could you lift it out yourself? It would make a great centre piece for your collection You norwegians are so lucky!

          Hi
It is an old firm Høvring or something like that, that bought all the wrecks on the Norwegian coast after ww2, but it is only jealosy from other collector or a nummnut museum member who really would not make the effort themselfs that could maybee stop you in a court on the behalf of a flightmuseum who would rather make it rust in peace. Go figure. This is what this world has come to regarding established museums, "if I can not get it, nobody shall have it".

For me personally...I like to know some places still to find wrecks wich still is where it was back then, and not only on exebitions.

I guess I am a bit nostalgic after growing up where you could find lots of stuff after the germans.

I will tell you this, and believe me. During the last 2 decades a LOT of german stuff has vanished from nature, bunkers, cellars and attics due to several of reasons.

Jotuntroll - Thanks for starting this thread. I for sure will be interested with what you come up with after your scuba dive. Additionally thanks for the outpost pictures. Was there only two rooms to the outpost?

            Thanks...

Yes it was only two rooms, not moore needed as it was just for observation.

                .
Høvding (now called something else) owns all the shipwrecks. Aircraft wrecks are owned by the state. If the remains are in decent condition I'm sure a local group would be interested in recovering it but it needs to go through the guys at Bodø first.....then they can swap the wreck for some c**p from the 1960s!

                  Hi Simon

A lot of 60`s aeroplain stuff is interesting. Civilian stuff too.
To trade it against a ju-52 would be very vise...

If you need someone to take underwater pictures while diving at the wreck, drop me a line, would love to take a holiday there! ;-)

Do you think that little room was a bathroom?
