      Umm...

I would say stick with the American impression. Your guys do GI hands down better than your FJ impression.

not interesting comment George , because we are in the more realistic FJ group in france , we are all real paratrooper with civilian paratrooper brevet with static line jumps , and we work every time to get better (Equipement , combat look , show , vehicule, jump equipement) .

I also like your FJ impressions....Looks like a squared away unit IMO.

It must be an amazing feeling to re-enact in and around the actual battlefields. You are quite fortunate...

Very nice pictures there, looks like a lot of time and effort went into it. I do like the photoshop post processing to date the photo there - it looks quite good.

I like the gear and encampment set up you guys have. I also like the uniformity of your gruppe, but encourage at least some variation as you are a "Carentan" era unit.

My major criticism, if wanted is the way your men hold their rifle - especially in a parade setting! It may be the cross dressing that is doing it to you....don't hold your weapon like an American!

No such thing as a civilian paratrooper.
                        Only skydiver-ropejumper or not.
A paratrooper is a real soldier who has taken a few extra steps.
It is something we real paratroopers take very seriously.
Wearing of "Silver Wings" not actually earned is a faux pas of the highest order.

                          ardennes :

your right , we have seriously to learn this

                          Mike P :

I agree with you , but in our group we want to be better so we pass the civilan paratrooper brevet to be better authentic , we don't have the "pretention" to earned the military paratrooper badge , but like the other group of fallschirmjager reenacting where they wear the badge on their reenacting uniforms for nothing , we just want to be more "realistic" in our level.

I hope you understand what I mean with my poor english vocabulary

I like your group too. I have already seen it in action in Duclair, last year. I have only few "bad" details to note : your shirts (chemises bleues) arent' nice : too modern ! And why all the Fj men wear their collar (cols de vestes) over the Fj tarn bluse ? Look the war photographs and you will see that it was exceptionnal, and most of the time for NCO or officers (like yours).
                            But your action is good.
