When the photo was taken it was almost dark. We had reached are objective for the day so I ordered my men to dig in and clean their weapons. For the first time in what seemed like an eternity my men & I were able to close our eyes and wait for morning.....................and the killing to come.

Domino's pizza?? American artillery killed a nearby farmer's cow, so my men filled themselves on fresh meat that night, we were also able to give the farmer and his family some coffee that we found in an american truck. He thanked us...wished us good luck...his wife said she'd pray for us.
