A very close friend of mine's grandfather, Wilhelm Dertinger. 2/PiBtl.198/ID.98. 27.09.1909 - 05.12.1944 (somewhat of a relative since I have been researching him for the past year LOL):

My Gramp...WWII CBI vet.

His wife (my Gram)...WWII WAVES vet.

My Gram's brother....Korean War vet (5th RCT).

My Gram's other brother...a WWII vet who went on after the war to become a B-29 Bombadier. He was killed in a training accident in 1947.
