hi, just a question ,is there any divers on here ? a mate of mine on saturday dived an uncharted wreck, anyway it turned out to be a large trawler type vessel sank by a uboat in ww1 1917 with no loss of life as the germans came alongside and told the crew to leave the vessel before they sank it, my fiend was 1st on wreck and took the ships bell, but he has now been told he might be able to claim the wreck is that possible?

In a nutshell he's not allowed to take anything at all from any WWII wreck in Norway without the owners permission.
As for this wreck off the UK, there's a process to be gone through, reporting, inquest etc. etc. that much i know.Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.
