I’m in the process of getting together the bits and pieces for a walking out uniform, and I was curious about the standards that were in place for bayonets. Was the dress bayonet a private purchase upgrade, or was it an issued item? Could a standard bayonet be worn with the troddel in this class of dress, or was that a big no-no?
