    Hands on History event

Hi Guys, I thought that you might like to see some photos from this event that took place here in the UK last weekend?
The show was held in Lichfield at the barracks of the Staffordshire Regt.
Groups there ranged from Ancient Greeks through to the Gulf War. I have only photos from the groups doing WW1 & WW2. I was there as a member of 2nd Guards Rifle Div.
First off are a few pics of fellow forum member Paul M's FJ Reg 2.
    Cheers, Ade.

Here are a few pics of a new group here in the UK who represent Republican Forces of the Spanish Civil War. They are known as "La Columna".

British Airborne were represented by 1st Airborne Recce Squadron. Seen here under a shelter made from supply cannister parachutes, doing what Brit re-enactors do best, eating haversack rations and drinking Compo ration tea The weather was very hot as Britiain is having a heat wave!

Part of the display put on by the Living History Association's U.S. 2nd Armoured Div. The M8 Armoured Car is owned by a friend of mine and is a beauty. It won "Best in Show" for Allied vehicles.
