    WW1 battlefields

I am thinking of spending a week touring the WW1 battlefields in northern France and Belgium. Can anyone advise me on the best places (trenches, battlefields, museums and cemeteries) to visit please?
    Many thanks,
    Max.

the main museum in albert.the cafe at poziers.if you ask the owner he will show you his nice collection upstairs and the trenches he has reconstructed out the back.the museum in deville wood.if you go to amiens there is a nice museum.i know of a good b+b in poziers.if you travel down to poission there is an original railway line that you can ride on,it takes you from what used to be the rear all the way up to what used to be the front line.theipval and hammel are also a must they have original trench lines in the park.don't forget the crater at lochanger.if you go try and get major and mrs holts guide to the somme well worth the money

Vimy ridge the canadian memorial is huge, there's an old trench system still there with alot of bunkers left and you can also do an underground tour of the old tunnel systems which is a must.
Trying to remember I think at Albert under the church or main town hall is an interesting museum.
There are numerous numbers of small cemeteries dotted all throughout the countryside so keep your eyes peeled.

Enjoy yourself I actually hope to get back there this Novemeber and do abit of touring and exploring.
I will try and dig out some more info for you.
Please let us know how you get on and post some pics too.
