    Unknown trophee on bunker

    Could anyone identify this

We went on a bunker trip and we visited lots of bunkers and we'd meisure them all (Atlantikwall Archives, find and meisure all the Atlantikwall Bunkers)

We visited this one also but we don't know which trophee this is.

It almost completely sure that this is a Trophee taken by the Germans and that they concreted in.

We think it is from a plane (proppeler...) if someone just thinks he knows it.

    thanks!

Looks far too solid to be a 109 spinner, wrong shape too.
      More pics would be helpful

Is there something written on the right side?

No, they tried to get it out otherwise they scratched something on it.

Other photo: Only a close-up since the trophee is concreted in so each side looks the same, hope this helps a bit.

Have you got a picture showing the whole bunker and the location of this piece?

Whatever it is... it's got some bullet holes, isn't it?

How big is it? It looks to be only a few cm in size.
It seems to me that it is one of those things they put in the ground (nowadays, not in 1944) for making maps/ mesuring ground movement, distance, or whatever (looks like this http://ilotresor.com/dabo/images/borne-ign.jpg or this http://www2.cegepoutaouais.qc.ca/fst...e/default6.jpg ). Usualy they are installed in a little piece of cement, but maybe this time they deemed the bunker solid enaugh to use it?

I think it is like 20-30 cm didn't meisure it.

I can't say how far it goes down because it has been concreted in.

But the size down normally (because I can't see), just the place where they tried to remove concrete to get it out, that it goes down in the same size (so not the second link you gave me).

It looks like a top of a bomb

Jonathan: I have gotta search for it again (I made 1000 photos which i'm organising) but it is on the top (roof)
