Hi there, Im new to the forum, My name is Lars and im from the Washington DC area. I'm 22 and I am a Grenadier in the 11th Panzer Division, Aufklarungs Abteilung based in Northern VA (www.11thpanzer.com) We do a lot of events with Grossdeutchland. I've been involved in collecting/reenacting for less than a year, but Im definetly hooked for a long time.

Looks like you guys definetly have your facts straight, Im glad to have you as a resource. I just bought an SVT at gunbroker... I felt quite secure in my appraisal of it but have a look and tell me what you all think. Here's hoping I didnt waste 400$

Hi Lars, I think that you did well on the SVT 40. $400 would not even buy you a deactivated example here in the UK, which is the only sort we can have......
The SVT 40 has always been one of my favourite semi autos.

I'd heard that Ade, and Im sorry. You guys appear to have SO many more vehicles though, tracked or otherwise. Axis tanks are almost unheard of (as far as I know) in East coast reenacting. I cant speak for anywhere else, but we've got a couple converted czech OT810's and some repro 232/234's.
