    Observation bunker westcoast Norway

    Hi collector friends. 23.2.08

We visited a couple of observation bunkers along with a bunker for cover purpose.
The location is about 400-500 meters north west of our home in a defence line going east of our town.
We had info about a possible MG mounting rod wich I recognised as the universal type used on german tripods for optics, in these bunkers it was clearly designed for rabbit ear sissor binos.

    We tried with some equipment!

    Enjoy

First pic: A overgrown trench leading to a bunker entrance.

A couple of minutes of walking up the hill towards one of the four? observation bunkers and we stumbled across a german signal stone.
This concrete stone has the angle of the signal cable marked on the top for ecsample if the cable went stright from point A to point B the marking would be just a stright mark on the signal stone`s top.
