      While I do agree that it does look kinda silly, I think you guys are missing the other side to this.

      as a Historical reenactor, most of us do this not to go out and bust a cap or play cowboys and indians, but from a historical standpoint and preservation of the memory of history. Caucasians are a minority in the far east as Asians are in North America or Europe.
      there are good people everywhere who have a love for the history and want to preserve it. what fun would it be in Japan if the only thing you were able to portray was the Japanese against the Chinese? the rest of the war would go uncovered and lost to the civillians attending the events. why spoil their fun?

          AS the matter of fact, They were 100% AXIS in WWII.
          They did not surrender after the FIRST atomic bomb...

          Hence, for any event of axis related re-enactment. They're definitely more qualify than us...

            that story about the chinese guy captured at normandy goes like this he was actuly korean and was captured by the chinnes he fought for the chinnese and was captured by japan he then fought for japen and was capture by the russains he then fought for the russain and was captured by the germans he THEN fought for the germans and was captured by the americans!!! yep he was indeed the forest gump of ww2!!!!
