German Panzer V Found In Poland

Who saw the documentary about the German Panzer found in a river in Poland that is now being restored by Jaques Littlefield in Portola Valley, California. His tank farm is only 15 min. from my house! Pretty cool program featured on the Military Channel. That was one bad-arss tank!

Eric, have you ever thought about ringing from the main gate and asking for a peek? If I lived that close, I would be camping out like a groupie of a rock & roll band.

              Eric,
I've seen the program three times and will undoubtly watch it a fourth time if I come across it ( I know, too much time on my hands.. ). If it was only down the road from me I would be offering the guy cash just to view it

You should have seen the row here about "how the h*** did he manage to get this wreck out of Poland" ))

As for me personally I'm glad that he is restoring it - mainly because here no one would be able to put so much cash to do so.

Below you have some pics of how did it look like after pulling out of the river.

                Regards
                Jacek

Ha, ha! I understand he's not into the private tour deal . Bummer. As for getting that tank out of Poland....guess money talks. He is a multi-millionaire!
