Hi, just joined and thought I'd put in a few words of introduction.

I've been reenacting in the UK for more years than I care to remember, going through about a thousand years of British history before settling into WW2 roughly 5 years ago now.

I'm with a small (but beautifully formed ) Red Army group here in the UK. Our website is here...

Hi Alex, welcome aboard Comrade! Glad to see you here. I can recommend Alex's group as being very authentic and professional. The website does have some great pics, I too would like to see some enlarged.
Are you doing Beltring this year Alex? We (2nd Guards) will be in the same spot as last year.

Phew! Sorry about the delay but right after I posted for the first time the database got corrupted & my login etc. got binned.

Anyway, Ade good to speak to you. Za Ob won't be doing Beltring but most of us will be there in other capacities

If everything works out I'll be with the Warsaw Pact Forces Group doing 1980's Soviet Army so will pop over to say 'Zdrast!'.

re the website, it's only a temporary one while we sort out something better but as none of us are techies it's likely to be a long job.

Here is a pic took the other week at Bletchley Park with the Russian field gun. (I did not go as I was at another event doing my British stuff.) One of the Za Ob lads was there, but I can't remember his name? Too much drink
