Medals Mounted

My commanding officer sent me a couple medals for me to court mount for him. Thought I would post them here for viewing. They are both reproduction medals and I'm pleased how well the mounting turned out. Take a look.

I see alot of that remounting going on sometimes its obvious and sold as original to a novice.

well that is something I wouldn't do is make up a medal bar useing original medals I do these for re-enacting only useing reproduction medlas only. I wouldn't want to see original medal bars used for re-enacting to great a chance of them getting ruined

Thats a nice job well done . I had a go at court mounting medals but couldn't get the back plates so i wear an original court mounted group on my FJ Tuchrock for walking out.

I made the back plate, pin, catch, and pin hinge for the mounting. I can do court and parade mounts
