    I dug this one in 1984, and had it stored this 20 years.
    Was in the ground since 1944, but could be still offensive

      Be cautious anyway...

      In the 1950's several people were killed trying to remove the explosive black powder out of Civil War cannonballs here in America.
      They had been dug out of the ground and were almost 100 years old.
      It's best to assume that the grenade is still "live".
      I'd suggest dropping it in the sea and forget it...

            Hi, great finds all, no doubt about that! In your first photograph posted, what is the round on the bottom row, standing upright with 2 small bands around the middle?
