Attention all reenactors and military history enthusiasts!

The 3rd installment of the hugely popular convention is coming to Gettysburg, PA next month! Reenactor Fest 3 will be at the Eisenhower Hotel and Convention Center in Gettysburg on November 30 - December 2nd. The convention features a huge ballroom of vendors, covering every time period from the Ancient world through WW2. There are live demos, music, seminars and great nightly parties! Reenactors of every era will be walking around dressed in their best, and plenty of non-reenactors will be there too!

I've heard about this event in the past, but not much reaction from anyone in the community. How is this show in Gettysburg in terms of U.S. militaria, vendors, prices, etc?

The convention is only 2 years old, and to date has only been in Chicago, so folks outside of the Midwest haven't had a chance to experience it yet. That will change next month!

As for vendors, remember it's not "WW2 Fest" so I have been very careful in making sure the hall is full of vendors from all eras. That being said, we have several top-notch WW2 vendors coming: 1944 Militaria, Old Paratrooper, Castle Keep, Dutchie's Surplus and from WW1, Schipperfabrik. It's going to be a great show!

Sounds great, a little off topic, but I also hear there is another militaria show in Gettysburg happening early-mid November. Do you know anything about that?

What in the world is a Trojan virus??

I have a mac, so we don't get viruses or stupid pop ups.

... with a mac, you hit CLOSE and guess what? It does what you say!

Anyway - that's my rant against stupid PC's. Somebody tell me what a trojan virus is?? The link works fine.

I think it's a STD that somehow gets inside a trojan condom before you ever use it? Not sure. I got a mac too hehehe,

Haha, funny buggers!
A trojan virus basically enters your system and destroys it from the inside....like the Trojan horse. Hopefully it wont affect condoms, otherwise I better make some phone calls to ladies I frequented....
