    Bunker batterie Nordheim,wet of Norway

    Hi friends!
I took with me my family to revisit this remote bunker anlage which I like so well.
I had not the time to go over the whole place but I think it will show you some nice autumn photos of the wet west part of Norway.

Some historic facts of the Nordheim/Nesheim batterie:

    <TABLE cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=3 width="90%" align=center border=0><TBODY><TR><TD></TD></TR><TR><TD class=quote>
    ART.U.GR.BÖMLAFJORD
    HKB 63/977 Nordheim (922) with
    4(6) x 15,5 cm K416(f) target range 14000 meter.
The batterie was established in may 1941 with 4 big artillery guns.

    The armory:

    4 * 15,5 cm K416(f)- Rekkevidde 14000m
    2 * 5 cm KwK
    1 * 2,5 cm Pak.(f)
    2 * 2 cm Flak
    1 * 8,2 cm Gr.W(r)
    1 * 5 cm Gr.W. (f)

The bunkeranlage consisted of 8 to 10 artillery positions, officers baracks, kitchen barack, baracks for ca. 300 soldiers, shelters and defence bunkers.
About all buildings and bunkers was conected in some kind of trenches/tunnel system where one could go standing without being seen from the air.

    Picture shows west "gegen Engeland"...

A very small bunker, I believe it to have some kind of signal purpose.
    Not room for one person...

"main road" of the big artillery up to their positions. Halftracks must have been used...
