It could not be a .30, and the angle of the shot need to come from the air or the sea. But no ships could entered in the port, and no armored vehicles could access to the bunker.
It is very usefull to encountered .50 shot bullet on the ground aroud the bunkers

Studying German second world war bunkers and fortifications is something I am very interested in, but living in the UK I hardly get the chance to see any, is it still possible to find stuff in or around bunkers i.e. equipment and helmets etc? I was a massive bunker when I went to Crete 3 years ago, it went right into the mountain side, although I didb't have a touch so I didn't go in.
