Then & Now. Normandy and Brittany 1941 & 2005.

I always enjoy seeing photos of places 'Then and Now' so I will contribute some of my own.
The wartime photos were taken in 1941 in Normandy and Brittany and are part of a group I have from the same man. The photo set starts with the same group of guys going through their RAD service before progressing into the Heer. Luckily the photographer was good enough to write names and dates on the back of his photos which made tracing the places featured much easier.
I took the 'Now' pics back in 2005 while on holiday in the area.
First up we have the Ecole St. Yves in Treguier (Brittany) with Hauptfeldwebel Gunther Schulze standing in the entrance.

Part of a cemetery, again in Treguier, where a ceremony to honour German dead from the 1914/1918 war took place.

And today, the large white cross is now broken on the ground and it would appear that some of the graves have been moved.

There are two places in the cemetery where casualties of the 1914/18 war rest, this is the second.
