Talk to GD43 see if they can do it. If you can find decent tropical material, they could make the cap I'm sure. They've done good work from what I've seen, and do custom orders. These are the guys I use for my FIK/FIB insignia, and have seen some of their caps, and they can do pretty good work, especially if you provide material if you have a certain "look" you want. Another option to consider talking to would be Cyrus at Soldat, see if he knows. He's another great guy, and only sells quality stuff.

I have no idea regarding quaility or reputation and offer the info only to try and help.

        Cheers, Ade.

A friend of mine literally had one of these fall out of a flag that he bought at an estate sale. However, it wasn't tan, but gray smooth cloth - probably made in Italy as the vet's estate that was selling it had served in Italy. It was a stunning cap. I sold it for him to Bob at Antiques, Arms and Armour at a Max show about 5-10 years ago.

                  Hello Erich,
GD43 did a great job, not only with this cap but also with a GJ wool cap and a HJ ski hat. Friendly people and excellent stuff they custom tailor following your suggestions.
