Dieter it is easy to see that you are wearing an Asian made repro uniform in that picture. Your belt is lower than it should be, it is supposed to be at elbow height. The reason the belt is too low, is that the skirt is too long. The skirt is too long because it is patterned after a modern suit jacket, not an original WWII uniform. I bet the skirt is just as long in the back as it is in the front, this is very noticeable even from a distance. Look at the guys in this photo from my unit, 3. Panzergrenadier-Division from New England. All wearing LB tunics, you can see that the belt is at elbow height where it is supposed to be. These uniforms fit like real Wehrmacht issue. Some would say that the belt height is not a big deal but to me it is instantly apparent and the gunslinger look of the long HK tunics sticks out like a sore thumb! If you get an LB tunic you will not be subjected to this sort of nitpicking. And no, they are NOT made in China!

chris............im not trying to be mean spirited here by any means.........maybe this is for the german reenacting community in general............im sure you are right about the HKK tunic........i am not even close to being an expert..........i wear the HKK tunic 2x a year and my sturm tunic on a fairly regular basis...........is the HKK tunic the best tunic in the world........clearly not.........i think its decent and not farby by any means............maybe the german reenacting community should be glad to have to have someone filling out the ranks instead of saying....janke this and janke that (drool-drool).........why not buy the real deal if your going to shell out that kind of dough for a tunic?.............by the way the soldaten on the right has his gas mask canister on the wrong shoulder.....lol
