Hello
As a new member I thought I'd better post an introduction.
I'm predominantly a British WW2 Military Collector and Living History Enthusiast, though I do have a few German and American Items.
My main interest is British Army, specifically British Airborne.
The main areas of my interests include:
British and US Army Wireless Sets (inc Eureka / Rebecca Systems)
British Bedford OYD 3 Ton Lorry (under restoration)
British Bedford MWV 15cwt Lorry (awaiting restoration)
US Ford GPW Jeep (Restored)
US 75mm Pack Howitzer M1A1 on Carriage M8 (awaiting restoration)
British Uniform and British WW2 Living History.
Operation Dragoon (Allied invasion of Southern France)
Operation Overlord
Operation Market Garden
I belong to the following groups:
Summer of 44 Living History Group
WW2 Living History Association (1st AB Recce)
Military Vehicle Trust
Invicta Military Preservation Society
I have joined this forum after an invite from Adrian Stevenson, whom I've known for several years through Summer of 44.
Unfortunately my knowledge and expertise with German kit is very limited... do have a couple of Jerry Cans, a stick grenade, a WW1 signal lamp and a couple of medals... as I say... VERY limited !
Regards
Tim
