I finally got to visit the AAF (americam armor foundation) museum in Danville Virginia.I have been meaning to go for a while now and finally had the time (its about a 2 hour drive each for me) so i packed up my son and we checked it out.I have been to military museums all over the country and i was most impressed with this one-as a collector of WWII militaria i was thrilled to find a WWII focused museum.i went expecting to see a few tanks outside and instead found it was a massive building filled with hundreds of tanks,guns,AT-guns cannons, uniforms, headgear etc!! i bought a new camera a few weeks back that i put to good use with 1111 photos (!!!) taken on a sony 6mp camera with 12x zoom and a 1GB memory card-im lucky i got a new camera because for some reason they wont let you take photos with flash so all my photos are with the regular room light and no flash-my old one would not have worked well.i thought most came out good-it has taken me 3 days to edit and size the photos for this thread i hope you guys enjoy!
