      MN means Merchant Navy, this was pobably a crewmember on a british merchant navy vessel. I believe the ship's name is also on the grave. SS ....

        Great thread J-L!

        I was in Normandy last year and spent about 8 days focusing on the airborne parts of the battle. I have a number of photos from the Dead Man's Corner Museum and did start a thread in the FJ section a year ago. In case anyone wated to see more of the displays.
