        It was very eerie! From a beautiful blue sky, 85 degrees Celsius to lightning, thunder, rain and hail

              It was pretty warm - August of 2003 - and most of Europe was experiencing a nasty heat wave. 85 might be a bit of an exaggeration, but it was much warmer up there than we expected. I was in shorts and a T-shirt and I was sweating

              Although, that could have been from me gasping to try and catch my breath - the air up there is thin!!!
