Waffen SS blouse

Hi!
I have a question.
Can i make a waffen SS blouse from a Sweedish model 1943 blouse?
Please help!!!!

You can try and convert one but with the Repro's that are available most units will not allow you to wear it. Avoid being called a "Farb" and get one from Lost Battalions". In the long run you will save more money buying something correct to start with than trying to save money and having to replace it down the road.

Swedish tunics have a seam in the back. SS issue tunics did not have this seam.

You got me wrong and so ha s the Moderator.
I will not go to Re-enactment show,but i want to make myself a German SS or WH uniform for my personal display.
I don't know why the Moderator moved my subject from SS uniforms to Living history.

The SS forum is for the discussion of original militaria. The living history forum is the place to talk about reproductions. If you are only going to display the front of the tunic, you can use a converted swedish one. You will need to replace the pockets, dye the tunic, shorten the skirt, make belt hook holes, change the buttons, make the collar smaller or put on a new collar, and change the front closure at the top and add a new button hole. It would probably be easier to buy a reproduction.

The days of converting Swedish blouses are now long gone. Buy a good repro uniform.
