Hi

Can only assume this is the right forum,
Wondering if any one has dealt with cj750.net? or had any dealings with importing one of these from china

(I realise the importing is different in each county but am interested on how it went dealing with china)

Also interested in the performance of the 32HP M1S ?

It is a MAJOR problem getting it past customs at the port. Safety and Emissions will cause the bike to fail. I imported mine directly from China and had several problems that ended up costing extra dollars. I would not do it again, I would purchase from someone stateside.

Edit: I just realized you are from NZ...I am from the US and I am not sure of your Country's Rules / Regs. I would check these out first before you try and import. fischer

Do you know of any reputable importers of CJs in SoCal? I've looked at one site ("chang jiang usa" I think) and it seems he operates out of LA, but I've no idea about the quality of his bikes or service.
Do you know of any more?

fischer thanks for the reply, I am not to worried about this end as I can lookup and investigate it here, it is more the dealing with China, If anyone had dealt with companies there and what the results were?

Do not waste you time on a CJ750. They are a hunk of garbage. The engine and gearbox are junk.The metal used is very brittle. Save your money and buy a BMW,DKW,NSU,or Zundapp
