smwholesale fj boot photos for viewing pleasure

these arrived this morning, they were intercepted by customs and took almost a month to arrive,im surprised they didnt come up with a reason to confiscate them, soon it will be impossible to import any militaria that can be re-used ,its starting with the obvious and progressing down the chain, so buy it all now!

i though you would like to see some better photos of sm wholesales 2nd pattern boots as their photo is not such a good seller, any opinions feel free to post as far as quality goes and representation of originals thanks ... andreas

      Hello

I have a pair of these as well...I like mine...Are you going to put hobs on yours? After wearing them to (1) battle I was slipping around because of the flat leather soles. If you are do you have a pattern?

      Thanks, fischer

P.S. If you are going to put in hobs, what are you going to do to the heals? Mountain boot cleats?

I'm wondering if these were ment to be used on ski's as well as they have a groove around the heel. Hobnails can be purchased from Bunker Militaria, they are the single prong type:

          toe taps:
          large

          medium

          small

They were not meant for ski bindings, but rather meant for a anti-slip sole that was used early in the war. However, as the FJ were basically used as infantry as the war progressed, the anti-slip soles fell out of production and few paratroopers later in the war even SAW them.
