    Netflix

I don't know how many of you have Netflix but if you do, be aware that they have quite a library of films concerning WW2 and Germany.I just finished watching a documentary on the Stug Assult gun and its all from original film. Pretty neat watching them unload cases of MP44's in Berlin for the final defense and seeing the Volkstrum with the last defense guns.

Do you have any recommendations for Western/Eastern Front infantry documentaries? I use Netflix often, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any good German documentaries that fell in that area.

Actually the video that had the scenes I described was on the Stug tanks. The entire video is actual footage and they were describing the use of the Stugs in the final battle for Berlin. The shot of them handing out crates of MP44's was neat.
As far as the Eastern Front infantry, since the Stug was designed for infantry support, there were quite a few scenes of such action.
I will check Netflix again and see what else is available.

This is so true - I've found numerous titles that I didn't realize were available for US encoding or I wasn't ready to buy, but wanted to see.

It just takes some time to surf through the thousands of titles.
