    New Reich Chancellery.

    Hey Guys,

I'm searching the internet for two days now for pictures of the New Reich Chancellery. I found some pictures of the design and what it looked like, but I couldn't find some normal shots taken at the time showing the Chancellery in real life.

Is there anyone that has a picture of it or knows a site where I can find some pictures.

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers
    Bob

already checked it, didn't find anything good there. only some ruins.

There must be some pictures out there from 1939 or 1940 when all the nazi's were still happy and love doing those parades.

            Books

Your best bet is to order one of these books (by Arndt Verlag) -- incredible photos in full color. RZM.com has them in the USA and Landmark Military Books in the UK.

Mike is absolutely right. The book is super. Since you're from the Netherlands you should try amazon.de.

Try GOOGLE IMAGES, there you should find color and black and white photos of the building including the interior. The book by COWDERY on this building complex is simply AMAZING and worth every penny!!

                  Hope this help.

And in a similar interest, the REAL Hitler Reichchancellery formal desk was put on display in Germany, Cowdery mention on his book that he was able to inspect the desk in the 1990's during research for the book, a lot of people belived that is was destroy during the rampage of suvenir hunting after the war.

thank a lot guys. I tried google and yes I found some pictures, but I'm looking for a shot where you see people walking in front of the building, maybe seeing some banners hanging on the building, maybe while a parade is going on in front of it. and I just can't find those pictures

                        Good luck ...

I don't ever recall seeing any banners hung from the Kanzlei. I doubt if you will find any -- I doubt if this was ever done. Parades were usually held along the Unter den Linden.

Maybe not the new reichskanzlei but when you go to this site and type in reichskanzlei 1933-1945 you will get all these photo's from the reichskanzlei.
