I think that's not a good idea to replic something like that .
That's not for collectors, only for nostalgic.

It is good for a museum.
Or for someone who has a KZ display.

If not used for something mentioned above, it is indeed sick.
But when used in a historical context, I don't see anything wrong.
      JMHO.

Ok with you Nic,but people who don't collect german items don't make the difference between nostalgical items and historical items, for they it's the same.

The term "authentic replica" shows what level of intelect is xpected from the buyers.

            I agree.

Some lunatics will buy this just to show off to some of their friends.

              Faking the Holacaust

Apparently there is a group of people out there who make fake Holocaust items to pass off as real. Now there is a real slim ball. There was a book written about to how to detect fake items Holocaust items. I remember years ago on ebay there was a flood of inmate uniforms, which I presume to be fake. I guess nothing is sacred.

                    Hello

Wait untill some Holocaust survivors see these !!! What the hell is wrong with these people ,there is nothing collectable about these , I don't care if it is ok for a museeum ,there is just no place for such item in any collections .
If this goes to the medias ,we are all going to be looked at ,like a bunch of degenerates.
Very sad and sick in my opinion .
                    Regards

The sad thing is that there must be a market or they would not be making them for sale These things belong in Holocaust Museums or for teaching aidsnot copying for sale. I think to see these for sale would cause a Jewish person alot of anguish.

Geez, what's next? imitation human skin lampshades? I see little excuse to have any sort of collection including this crap. Its things like these that make period collectors look like Nazi wannabes in the eyes of the general public.

I agree, I really dont see the uproar here! You could find bad taste in just about everything nowdays. It is part of history, albeit a very dark part. People will do ANYTHING to make a buck, this is perfect illustration of that.

Oh really !!! and what is the point exactly in collecting these replica can ? To look good on top of your mantel piece ?
I am a collector not a reenactor ,if I wanted to play war games ,I would join the army and go fight a real one ,there is nothing playful or funny about these cans nor war for that matter . Whoever buys these are sick for obvious reasons.
These cans are giving all of us a real bad name ,if the medias ,or the Jewish organisations see these ... well you know what will happen.
                              Sad,sad world
