Alright! Back from work.
Here is the Sandve beach. It was littered with mines and obstackles like all the other little beaches around. A friend who lives there has some fine stuff from the area given to him from farmers etc. I remember 2 great dd helmets, one heer and one lw. He was not at home, so sorry, no pics of his collection this time.

His grandparents have told that in -45 the british forced the germans to walk the beach arm in arm after clering the mines. This was done though all Norway, but here they did not give the germans the mine maps first.
One young german went on a mine and screamed terrifying. This amused the british and they did nothing for him, his pals did!
The lokals had watched this and confronted the british that this they did not want any of. The germans where given back the mine maps.

The bunkeranlage at Skudenes hamn (Skudenes harbour).

Cool artillery gunturrets. Solstad shipping has build their base there now and a few bunkers and a complete barrack has gone in 2006. Good that the rest stands. Some doors are locked cause the bunker belonges to Arquebus warmuseum.
