Who's going to FIG 07?

Get there befor Thursday if possible since it will be a madhouse due to limited parking in close. You're part of a really good unit so keep your eyes and ears open and you will learn plenty from the guys around you!

yep 7th GD will be there as normal, Again we will not be doing the battle (too badly organised) This could actully be our last FIG since we run our own in march.

Looks like we havn't been able to give you too many reasons to be excited yet, Craig As has been already said, the parking situation is bad after Thursday, and this year it'll only be worse; they closed off a section of the base previously used for parking. Also, the tactical is quite terrible, but is starting to slowly get better each year.

As far as things to look forward to, the barracks atmosphere is great, and the flea market is amazing. Brings lots of cash. Every type of vendor imaginable will be there. As Sepp said, you're with a great unit, they won't steer you down the wrong path. You'll be fine.

I'll definitely be there, it's a great event and the public reenactments are getting better each and every year. I recall that during the first FIG event I went to several years ago, they actually drove the reenactors in school buses to the field where they then began to fire at one another from a couple hundred yards with blanks.

But the flea market and the barracks are definitely the main reasons for going, especially if you're looking to make contact with units and find one you are interested in joining.
