    Eichmann diaries

I read a book about the David Irving libel trial where he sued a woman who wrote that he was a revisionist. Evidently during the trial Israel released Eichmanns diaries (which had never been made public) for her to use in her defense of the libel suit. Does anyone know if these were published or made public ?

    Thanks, Sal

It may be that it was his interogation or questioning or statement made to the Isrealis before he was put on trial? It was something the Isrealis had and which had never been released to the public. I can't remember now and I can't find the book at the moment either

I tried to help with Hebrew searches but didn't pull up much. In English, this link http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/659429.stm explains the status of the diary's ownership. At this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Irving there are several references to Irving's useage / possession of TR leaders' memoirs and one section specifically on a copy of Eichmann's own.

I don't think Israel has published the full diary, though I recall reading several months ago that in the early '80s there was a Hebrew publication of selections from his diary. It was a very small printing (around 20 copies I think) and distributed only to certain academics.
