I am thinking I would like to get a good quality authentic repro M40 Tropical Field Cap for display. Any recommendations as to who makes the best repro M40 DAK style cap? I am not out to deceive anyone, but I would like to find a cap that is reasonably close to an original. I have been looking at 1944 Militaria and Lost Battalions--any recommendations between these two or any others? Thanks.

Try Bill Bureau. He sells Janke. You'll have to buy the insignia separately (which he also has), and have it attached yourself.
It's a little pricey, but if quality is what you're after, his stuff is worth it. He's pleasant to do business with, too.
