Tor-Helge - Thanks for the additional posts. What you have written in this thread has been very educational for me and I thank you. I am ready for more posts...

                  Thanks Simon

We'll know more about condition of them tomorrow, when they will arrive to our museum.
These pics were taken in a secure area, where few people have access. So because of security-questions I will not post any pictures of their locations from a distance

The StuG... Simon, that's a very good question. Wish I knew the answer..

                  Cheers,

Tor-Helge - Thanks for the additional photographs through Simon. It is interesting to see the track still on the tank from post 36 where as the others are not depicting any tracks. I also understand the concern of security, so appreciate the photographs that have been posted so far of the work in progress.

                      Super Discovery...

                      Great Work Guys!!!!

You've got a LOT of both hard & gentle 'chisel' work to do, in order to free the Armor from all of that Concrete! But hopefully, it served as a protective capsule for them?

YES, a Museum Exhibit is what is needed - it reminds us of History & keeps the past alive! Keep up the super work! ..... Dave / dblmed

The plan being put forward at the moment is to have all three sent to Germany for restoration. One then being returned to the local museum close to where they were found, one going to the restorers in Germany and the third i guess going to the central Norwegian armed forces museum. Still, it's up to the museum authorities to thrash out all that stuff.

Yes, it is possible, but it's going to be tough to find all the parts for the drivetrain...

Nothing is impossible, the impossible just takes a little longer time to achieve!
5 years ago it was considered impossible to find more german tanks in norway...
