serch groups in volgogrado is true or a legend?

hi all
i heard about groups of young guys (mostly) that search in the volgograd areas (former stalingrad) for remains of soldiers and give them a honour burial, and by the way they find a lots of things that they sell, i heard one group call POISK (quest), and another from germany, are those groups true or just a legend?
