                        Super photos, looks to be a great trip.

                        One of my dreams is to tour all of Europes battlefields........to retrace my grandfathers steps as he experienced WWII.

To the best of my knowledge, Theodore Roosevelt Jr. died as a consequence of a heart attack in Méautis, near Carentan. Enclosed is a photo of the hamlet, with the church on the background. I remember that there was a memorial close to the church dedicated to him... The links explains it all.
