Hi all,

I will be on holiday in Kreta (Rethymnon) in two weeks.
Apart from Chania and Maleme, does anyone know interesting wwii places to visit?

Are there some militaria dealers or interesting fleamarkets there ?

Jeff,

Galatas heights is nice (FJR3 landed there I think). Don't do dealers there - not much special, loads of fakes. A lot was shipped there in recent years, so locals could sell it as 'something from the battle'.....

Do a search in this thread on Kreta/Crete, and you will get some more info. Just visit some sights, and enjoy the awsome landscape and hospitality of the people.
