I seem to remember vaquely the existence of a 'holiday camp' located in the UK (1970s/80s) and it's theme was of a wartime POW camp replete with uniformed German 'guards' in watchtowers. I believe that holidaymakers/'POW' were issued BD to wear - I suppose it was a forerunner of re-enacting and the 'Lad's Army' TV series. Does anyone (Ade!) remember this or is it my wild imagination..?
