    Mariupol, Ukraine

Just wondered if anyone can offer any info about Mariupol?

I understand that Kurt "Panzer" Meyer was decorated for his part in the Battle of Mariupol.

The reason I ask is that I am going there this coming Saturday.

    Thanks for any help.

    All the best,
    Toby.

On October, 8th, 1941 Mariupol has been grasped...., occupation lasted till September, 10th, 1943.
    Has passed 70 years.
