    Himmler's grave?

In the Hugh Thomas book "The Unlikely Death Of Heinrich Himmler", there is a recent (last 20 years) photo of the two British servicemen, Sgt. Bill Ottery & Ray Weston, at the 'actual' grave site of HH on Luneberg Heath. Whilst their memories (and the environment) will have changed over time, is there any evidence from the British Archives that the location of the actual gravesite is recorded? If so, surely it has been 'buried' for eternity. Considering Hitler's remains were destroyed for the most part and the Nazi hierarchy executed via Nurnberg Trial were cremated and their ashes scattered into a river, is anyone concerned that the body of HH could be intacted? Surely he was dug up at a later date and dealt with???

    Hello,

i'm from lüneburg. And if the story in the books is true, he is buried in ahuge forest area with many swamps and lakes. But if was buried there once, i think he is still there! And his his remains should be untouched.
But if you come to germany, i invite you for a walk through the forest.

        Himmler.

Covered in After The Battle many years ago.
Winston Ramsey even managed to obtain Himmlers glasses from an NCO who helped bury the bastard. ( Sorry but I find Himmler to have had no redeeming traits , he was a self serving monster).

            Hello
The soldiers who buried him ,did not record ,where it was ,as they were ordered to do so. There is no record of any location. In the pictures ,the two vet , where just somewhere in the forest ,near the burial site ? Nobody knows where he is ,and that is better that way.
            Hope this will help
            Regards
            Pierre-Yves

His glasses are in the Danish resistance museum in Copenhagen .
no sorry, my mistake, the eye patch that he was wearing as part of his disguise when he was captured is in that museum.

                          BAD NEWS !!!!

From "THE THIRD REICH then and now", a large book published in 2005 by the people of AFTER THE BATTLE ,it is written on page 85 that THEY know precisely where the burial place is,and that THEY are the guardians of the secret.
There is a photo taken in May 1977,showing the two surviving soldiers(now dead) beside a big tree and a white cross to show the spot.
