    Nimitz Museum & WW2 Reenactment

Does anyone have information on the WW2 Reenactment that is supposed to take place next weekend at the Nimitz Museum in Fredricksburg, Texas.
I was at Bussey's Flea market when several people had mentioned that is was next weekend.
A friend of mine attended last years event which was a reenactment of the Marines on Iwo Jima attacking real Japanese reenactors on Mt. Suribachi. I saw his photos and they had flamethrowers as well as US and Japanese tanks!! They actually made a mountain (on a smaller scale) to look like Mt Suribachi and planted the US flag on top!! It looked pretty damn realistic and awesome. If you have any information please post it here. Thanks! - Bill

Actually I heard it from several other collectors in the San Antonio area and one person at the flea market who's Father a USMC vet was involved in the reenactment last year. He is doing it again this year. Cipriano also knew about it but he doesn't go to such events...he is a dealer/seller of Militaria at his stand in Bussey's. If I find out anything I will post it on this thread. - Bill

Do a web search for the Nimitz Museum or the city of Fredricksberg. They should have some info on it

I did a web search and came up with nothing about the reenactment but folks swear it was taking place next weekend. I'm supposed to be going up and meeting with my Buddy and going to it but cannot find anything on it. If anyone else can find some information on it please post it here. Thanks - Bill
