We have been off to the Black Sea last week
and being bored with sunbathing we went
to Varna and visited the Navy museum.

I will post the pics but will not be able to give
any info on the equipment and displays since
ninety percent of the explanation panels
were written in Bulgarian.

However most of the displays relay to the
numerous incidents between Bulgaria and Turkey.

something so that I can amend the thread
accordingly

is a torpedo launching boat.

Next to it is an older boat. Astonishingly it had an
explanation panal in english, so here it is:

During the Balkan war of 1912 - 1913, in the night of
November 21, the Bulgarian warship Druski from the
detachment of torpedo boats successfully torpedoed
the Turkish cruiser Hamide. This feat of arms marks
a glorios page in the history of the Bulgarian navy.
