              buit to absorb some of the shock wave in case of an explosion
              in the ammunition storage rooms.

                The blast deflecting doors have been removed by german troops
                since these rooms were used during the WWII as an industrial
                production site

                    Blast deflector doors separating the ammunition part from the
                    rest of the main galleries.
                    As you see this door is damaged.
                    In fact german troops had to open the doors and remove
                    some of the concrete in order to enter the industrial machines.


                    At the end of war, they eliminated some remaining ammunition by
                    exploding them.
                    The blast made this door close (it weighs 7 tonnes). You can see the
                    result on the door and concrete structure surrounding it
