ADvanced landing ground memorial Normandy.

I took this photograph back in 95.
It shows a stone set up to mark the site of an advanced landing ground ,
on a small side road about a mile from La Cambe - looking for somewhere to turn and came acrosss it purely by chance.

Has anyone else seen it , any info on the ALG ?

Again I found the photograpgh by chance when sorting out a mass of stuff.

Yes there is a few of these in Normandy now. There is one near Martragny, there is a website somewhere I will try to find it for you. There is another ALG site near Tilly-sur-Suelles that still has some Typhoon wreckage present.
