Re-issued FJ helmet?

Helmet experts,
This sand cammo helmet came from Germany recently.The seller described it as a "Rare M38 para helmet".
The shell is like wartime ones that Ive seen with off centre rear bolts.Could it have been old stock relined in West German era?
There,s a lot of powdery surface rust on top that will have to be removed.

The helmet pictured is an Indian or Chinese fake. Probably Indian.

Hi to all.
Believe it or not,this is just the helmet that I was looking for.Why? Because the shell most closely resembled a wartime piece than many other repros that I considered buying.
Such as one when viewed from the side was flat topped and elongated.Another when placed on a flat surface showed that the front peak area was only half as high from horizontal as it should be.
Then there is the cost.This helmet in total ( Postage,customs etc) was slightly less than a brand new one fom a U S web site at $290 plus extra for a cammo paint job and extra for wires.
$6000 HELMETS ARE WAY OUT OF MY LEAGUE.

Hi Eric,
Yes I see your point.The reason is I havent seen a repro that is attributable to India,China or a re-ssued West German one.
As I was looking for an authentic looking repro,this one came along.The sellers description and its shape suggested to me that the shell could be original.So I sought expert opinions.

EXACTLY! "Re-issued" ? Intentionally deceptive is more accurate. As for the price, it's your money.
